I KNOW is a new testing initiative for gay or bisexual men and transgender women who have sex with men.
I KNOW has been created by the Men’s Testing Initiative, in partnership with the CDC, through four local Philadelphia organizations:
- The University of Pennsylvania
- The Colours Organization
- Safeguards
- The AIDS Care Group.
I KNOW isn’t just about knowing your HIV status, but to make the process of knowing a much more fulfilling and comfortable experience, especially if you have never taken an HIV test before or you haven’t been tested in a long time.
I KNOW offers testing in multiple ways to make getting tested easier for you. ALL I KNOW HIV testing is free and confidential for everyone who comes and gets tested. These are some of the ways you can get tested with I KNOW:
- Visiting one of the testing sites listed below
- Test on our mobile unit in your neighborhood
- Test and receive results with your partner
- You will also receive a Gift Card after you receive your HIV test results.
This is just the beginning of I KNOW. Follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook to keep track on what I KNOW will be doing within the city and in the future.
